  1. Great job, guys. Looking forward to seeing (hearing) where this all goes. I like that you both seem to like the Rebirth Beetle title, as I've also been giving that a chance and I'm enjoying it so far.

    1. Thanks for the positive feedback Max, really glad you enjoyed it, I know we had fun recording it! As for Rebirth...absolutely! Like I mentioned on the episode, and on my blog posts, so far it's more questions than answers...but those questions have me intrigued and coming back for more! Loving the series so far!

  2. Yeesh! I listened to the first podcast weeks ago, but never got around to commenting, and now I see there's a second one out. Sorry for the late reply. I don't recall any specific details I wanted to address at this point, but I did enjoy the debut overall. I'm glad you're planning on covering all of the Beetles, since I have the least interest in the most popular and well known incarnation. That said, I bought the Action Heroes archive editions a while back with the intention of finally reading the original Steve Ditko Ted Kord stories. I'd even planned on covering them on the Power of the Atom blog, but that was shelved along with everything else related to that project in favor of Wonder Woman and Bloodlines podcasting. Given how radically different the Charlton characters were from their DC incarnations, I still have a glimmer of hope that the Ditko material would revive my interest in Kord after I came to hate him and Booster Gold as part of JLI #UnpopularOpinion

For me, the other major draw of the show is coverage of (the) Dan Garret(ts.) I have a strong interest in the Golden Age, and find a mystical Blue Beetle more intriguing than a technological one. Tim gets to be the Professor here, and Jay works as the inquisitive pupil. Looking forward to more!
