MegaCon 2014 Day 3

This was a great weekend, and a very busy one! Bad news? It's over. Good news? Made a few friends (be sure to keep an eye on Shelbie Savage and Sessmaru cosplays! Shelbie is the "Tink" at the bottom of this page and they were "Harley and Joker" in the MegaCon 2014 Day 2 update), caught up with some old ones (always great to see Rusty Winns and Thom Zahler), got lots of pics...and now going to enjoy a couple days in Disney!

MegaCon 2014 Day 2

Wow! Today was busy! Crazy busy! Heard a few other dealers refer to it as "San Diego busy"

Good for business, but kept me from seeing as much of the show as I would have liked, and catching up with friends...though I did manage to get some pics...and then had dinner with friends including artist Thom Zahler, columnist Bob Ingersol and the man behind my favorite show, the Baltimore ComicCon, Marc Nathan...sadly though after a great meal, and dessert at Ghirardelli's, there was no time for our annual mini-golf game.

There's always next year I suppose...

MegaCon 2014 Day 1

Well, the drive down to Florida was interesting! In the wee hours of the morning Thursday the brakes on the truck we rented went out. No crash, everyone made it safely, but the call to the rental company led to a series of unkept promises and about 7hrs delay! 

But after a late night of unpacking the truck at the hall, and an early morning of set up the Cards, Comics and Collectibles booth (aka $5 Manga) was open for business Friday! If you're at MegaCon this weekend stop by and say "Hi!"

Not much chance to walk the floor today, but plenty of cosplay...
