I'm thinking of searching up some of these old cards (don't have any at the moment...only own the Batman version of the RPG) and am wondering...what size are they? Are they standard 2.5x3.5?Jonathan Linnemanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04711517194240426383noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2592420625759016478.post-63258484106694275192014-07-18T19:59:43.286-07:002014-07-18T19:59:43.286-07:00I own a number DC Heroes items 1st-2nd ed boxes (1...I own a number DC Heroes items 1st-2nd ed boxes (1e is missing the poster map, but otherwise complete) a second 1e GM screen, the Batman Rpg, the 1st ed Batman Sourcebook, one of the Who's Who's (I have it in a binder for ease of use) the WWII sourcebook, the Atlas of the DCU, Hardeare Handbook, and a bunch of modules.

As of this time, I have not run or played it, though I want to. After hearing about a G+ mini campaign for MSH where small groups of heroes went on strategic missions to stop supervillains, I thought that would be a great idea for DC Heroes. The only drawback is that most of the villains I found in 1e that would work for such a scenario were mainly Superman villains, though I could probably do some research and find some more, however I would have to make new cards for those villains.Ashikaiderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15289491436618303105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2592420625759016478.post-9351129759850928702013-09-11T11:59:31.434-07:002013-09-11T11:59:31.434-07:00Glad you both liked the post! Love it. So easy to learn, play, and run. Action resolution with one roll of the dice, somewhat borrowed from the James Bond 007 game Greg Gorden also worked one.

Personally I felt the ability scores assigned to DC charactes were vastly overblown. Ted Kord is certainly agile, but 64 times as agile as an average adult? I really doubt it. (Remember, an ordinary person has a score of 2 and each point higher is twice as good, i.e., 3 is double the ability of 2 and 4 is double the ability of 3.) Most of the Watchmen had more reasonable scores. Luckily it's simple to fix this inflation just by lowering the more ridiculous scores.

Thanks for reminding me of this great game. I think I may try to get a group together to play it!

Doc Savagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08783244633195233970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2592420625759016478.post-88041207084180505832013-09-06T19:16:13.852-07:002013-09-06T19:16:13.852-07:00This was one of my favorite RPG. I even teamed up with batman for awhile when robin was with the Titans. It was good times.
Slobberknockerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07506790513009245434noreply@blogger.com
